About this event
The September Fun Fly will include several flying contests as well as other activities such as a swap meet and chili cookoff. There will be prizes for the winner of the cookoff as well as for the best overall scoring flyer in the events. The main events will take place from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The swap meet will begin at 12:00pm and wrap up at 2:00pm. Rotary flying may be curtailed during the swap meet. Fixed wing flying will be curtailed during the contests but will resume after lunch. Lunch will be served from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Meals will include hot dogs and hamburgers and the entries to the chili contest as long as it lasts. Samplers of the chili will be asked to vote on their favorite.
There will be a $5.00 admission fee for each non-member over 10 years of age. Lunch is offered to all attendees over 10 years of age for an additional $2.00 each. Lunch and admission is free to visitors under 11 years of age. A 50/50 raffle will be held with proceeds going to the CCRC Training Fund. Tickets may be purchased when entering with the drawing taking place after lunch.
Participants in any flying are required to hold a current AMA certificate.
